ok, this is how to make complex shapes for photoshop in rhino 3d, try to work in just 1 viewport, as depth doesn't matter. i started off drawing this, just with polylines, and added more and more objects as i went along. using rotate with copy turned on is really useful for accuracy. |

after you get it all set out, push ctrl a, and then use the planarsrf command. then render it with a black background. |

paste that into photoshop quickmask and invert the colors. do whatever you want with it. i just gave you a example. |
